The Facility

BMB is situated on approximately 55 acres of rolling hills in the Trussville/Clay area Northeast of Birmingham. We are less than 10 minutes off of I-59 at the Deerfoot Parkway exit.
BARN

Our barn is concrete masonry with 21 stalls surrounding an indoor arena. Stalls are 12′ x 11’6″ with shavings. The barn has two tack rooms, and a separate secure storage room for show trunks and other supplies, as well as a wash rack with hot and cold water, and a rider lounge area. There is also a covered and lighted round pen that is easily accessible from the barn.

Pasture Turnout

We have approximately 50 acres of pasture and paddocks, most with run-in sheds. Our main pasture allows the horses access to an acre pond and a run in shelter. The other paddocks are used for clients who might want their horses in a separated area for reasons that could include; older horse, horse that is hard to catch, show horse, etc. Horses that are brought in for training will have their own paddocks to stay in.

ARENAS

We have three arenas:

  • Lighted indoor arena (40 ft. x 105 ft.) with newly installed sand. This is great for work during inclement weather and for riders who work and ride in the evening.

  • Large (120 x 200) outdoor arena with sand footing and with seating for spectators. This arena will have our barrels and pole bending patterns set up daily. This will still leave plenty of room to work your horse in the arena.

  • Large, fenced in jumping ring that is adjacent to the outdoor arena. There is a total of 10 jump sets in the ring. These can be used for beginners through upper level jumpers.
